Hilton Jackson has worked directly with faith communities across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, drawing on his background as a Texas DPS Licensed LTC Instructor, Level III and IV Security Officer, Church Safety Program Specialist, and Licensed Private Investigator. He understands both the legal framework and the practical realities of protecting a congregation.
For churches that need licensed armed security officers — not just trained volunteers — we partner with Corsair Tactical Solutions to provide Texas DPS licensed Level II, III, and IV security officers for services, events, and ongoing security coverage. Volunteers vs. Licensed Officers — Understanding the Difference
Texas law allows churches to designate members of their congregation as volunteer security team members — individuals who may carry firearms during services without being licensed security officers. However, this designation comes with specific legal requirements and significant responsibility. Our training ensures your volunteer team understands exactly what the law allows, what it prohibits, and what their liability exposure looks like.
