Private Security Training
Private Security Training
in Dallas-Fort Worth
Whether you are entering the security field for the first time or building a team to protect your organization, this training gives you the skills, the certification, and the professional foundation to do the job right.
Security Is a Calling — and It Deserves Serious Preparation
People who go into security work are often motivated by something deeper than a paycheck. They want to protect people. They want to be the person others can count on when things go wrong. That instinct is worth honoring — and it is worth preparing properly. That is what this training is designed to do.
Gideon Training Solutions offers professional security training for individuals pursuing Texas DPS security officer certification and for organizations that want to build or strengthen their security teams. Our training is led by Hilton Jackson — a Level III and IV Security Officer, Texas DPS Licensed LTC Instructor, NRA and USCCA Certified Instructor, and Licensed Private Investigator — in partnership with Corsair Tactical Solutions. Between the two organizations, we cover both the training side and the operational side of professional security in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Corsair Tactical Solutions provides Texas DPS licensed Level II, III, and IV armed security officers for events, venues, churches, businesses, and executive protection engagements across DFW. That operational experience informs how we train. We are not teaching theory — we are teaching what actually works in the field, because we work in the field.

Training and Services — Understanding the Difference
We offer two distinct things under the security umbrella, and it is worth being clear about both. The first is training — helping individuals earn their Texas DPS security officer certification and helping organizations build and train their own internal security teams. The second is security services — providing licensed, armed security officers through our partnership with Corsair Tactical Solutions.
If you are an individual looking to enter the security field or advance your certification level, the training programs here will prepare you for the Texas DPS licensing process and give you the practical skills to perform at a high level. If you are an organization that needs licensed security coverage — for a single event, ongoing weekly service, or a long-term contract — we can connect you with Corsair Tactical Solutions for a custom conversation about what that looks like.
Many of our clients need both, and we are comfortable helping you think through which combination makes sense. Every engagement starts with a real conversation — not a sales pitch. Call or text 817-683-3282 and we will talk through your situation honestly.
