Our Mission
Gideon Training Solutions was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every responsible individual deserves access to professional-grade firearms training. Not just for sport — but for safety, confidence, and the protection of their families and communities.
Led by Hilton Jackson, a DPS-licensed LTC instructor and USCCA-certified trainer, Gideon Training Solutions has grown into one of DFW's most trusted firearms education organizations — known for 5-star instruction, genuine care for students, and a safety-first philosophy that never compromises.

Founder & Lead Instructor
Hilton Jackson is the founder of Gideon Training Solutions and owner of The Alliance Training Team. A credentialed, hands-on firearms educator with decades of combined training experience, Hilton brings warmth, discipline, and professionalism to every course. He holds certifications from the USCCA, NRA, Texas DPS, US Law Shield, and more.

Steve Hopwood is a military veteran, private security professional, and owner of Corsair Tactical Solutions. With a comprehensive background spanning military service, law enforcement training, and firearms instruction, Steve delivers security officer certification, tactical training, and advanced firearms programs.

Dr. Casilda Maxwell brings a unique clinical perspective to personal defense. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD) and certified USCCA instructor, she bridges the psychological dimensions of self-defense with practical hands-on training — particularly for women's safety and less-lethal defense programs.

Shannon Gulley is a domestic violence advocate, women's self-defense champion, and owner of Goody Box Self Defense LLC (FFL). Shannon's compassionate yet tactical approach to personal safety has empowered hundreds of women and families across the DFW area.
